Substance Abuse
Substance Abuse (SA) is an excessive use of psychoactive drugs, such as alcohol, pain medications, or illegal drugs that can lead to physical, social, or emotional harm.
- MHC will complete an intake application for referral services. MHC will refer the individual to substance abuse programs, licensed therapists, licensed counselors, and SA programs. Once the referrals are completed, and services are being provided, MHC will follow up on progress every six months for one year.
